Valparai is a hill station surrounded by tea plantations and evergreen forest. Cycle ride to the town from Pollachi passes through the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary noted for elephants, boars, lion-tailed macaques, gaur, sambar, and giant squirrels.
Water bodies at Monkey Falls and Aliyar Dam are also seen en route. The region has a rich elephant tract and is known to have many leopards.

Grade: Moderate [Difficult has been down graded as schedule time for cycling has been increased owing to the requests from cycling enthusiasts].
Stay: Hotel Rooms in Twin Sharing / Triple Sharing basis.

09:00 AM: Ride starts at Base.

Day 2: 54 Kms [Climbs]
06:30 AM: Breakfast at Valaparai.
07:00 AM: Ride Starts through Tea Estates.
Stay at Standard Hotel.
Day 3: Reverse of Day 1.
