Standing at 1894 mts, Kudremukha peak is the third highest peak in Karnataka after Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri and a moderate trek to go with it.
This has always been qualified under the to-do trek during onset of Monsoons.
Bavikonda Trek starts from the foothills of the Mullodi village in the Kudremukha Range. Bavikonda Trek passes through the Somavathi River Waterfall, A beautiful ridge walk towards the peak. The best part of Bavikonda Trek is trekking on the open face of the mountains while enjoying the view of the nearby peaks.

Team Size: 12 or 21.
It is a deep, dense forest. Please have your expectations accordingly.
Itinerary (Subjected to weather and permission)
Day 1 Saturday :
Pickup Points :
06: 15 AM : Pick up Domlur .
06: 30 AM : MG Road Metro .
07: 00 AM : Shantala Silk House Majestic [Near Majestic Metro] .
Breakfast on Hassan Highway [Self Sponsored].
Lunch at kottigehara [Self Sponsored].
02 :00 PM : Start climbing Ballarayanadurga .
04:00 PM : Leave for Kalasa.
07:00 PM : Jeep Ride to Mullodi Village .
08:00 PM : Dinner will be arranged at the home stay.
Day 2 Sunday :
05:00 AM : Early breakfast .
05:30 AM : Get Passes from Forest Department
[Only 50 people are allowed in the national park and it cannot be pre booked].
06:00 AM :
If Passes are issued , Then trek towards Kudremukh Peak .
or
Trek towards Bavikonda [300 Rs will be refunded each participant ]
Visit Somawathi Falls in the evening .
14:00 PM : Reach base camp, sip hot tea . Head towards Bangalore . Jeep Ride will be arranged .
Day 3 : Monday
04:30 AM: Reach Bangalore.
Drop Points
Majestic Metro, Shantala Silk House .
MG Road.
Domlur .
Stay is in homestay in Tents / Common hall / Rooms .
Bonfire will be arranged based on weather condition.
Cost: INR 3450 for Group Size of 10 .
Transport :
Depending on team size.
