The most beautiful of all Himalayan flowers, the blue Primula can be seen blooming in thousands in the valley. The best time to see the valley in full bloom is from mid July to mid August.

The best time to see the valley in full bloom is from mid July to mid August. To reach the valley one has to trek from Govind Ghat, on the route to Hemkund Sahib, upto Ghangaria. The high altitude serine lake, known as Hemkund ( 4329 mts.) lies encircled by seven snow clad peaks and their associated glaciers, it reflects its surroundings enchantingly on its crystal clear serene waters.

Best Time – July to August.
Though rainy season is not the best for trekking but most flowers bloom during monsoons. There is too much rush in June due to Sikhs pilgrimage to Hemkund Sahib.

6 Days(Dehradun ,Uttarakhand, India )

Day 1 :
Dehradun–Joshimath | Drive ~290Km , 10-11Hrs Drive
or
Take a bus from Dehradun to Joshimath [500 rs per Pax] . Overnight in hotel and dinner is included in the trekking package.

Day 2 :
Joshimath – Govindghat–Ghagriya(3000M)| Drive 20km, 45 min ; Trek –13km,6-7hrs
11km of easy trek followed by 3 km of steep ascent to Ghaghariya. Overnight in homestay/lodge

Day 3 :
Ghagariya –VoF– Ghagariya | Trek –10km, 4-5hrs Easy
Trek to Valley of Flowers – camping is not allowed in the valley so we will trek as far as possible and return to Ghagariya in the evening. Valley is 10km long and about 2 km wide and the
landscape is amazing.

Day 4 :
Ghagariya – Hemkund Sahib (4330M) –Ghagariya | Trek Ghagariya | Trek –7km, 6-7hrs
Steep ascent to visit Sikh pilgrimage center of Hemkund Sahib. One needs to be careful while coming down as it is steep descent - people can wear knee support to protect knees during descent.

Day 5:
Ghagariya –Govindghat Govindghat| Trek –13km, 4-5hrs Start
13km downhill trek to Govindghat. Leave early morning at 6AM to reach before noon. After this the participants can choose to either visit Badrinath or go to Joshimath and visit Auli or head back straight to Haridwar/Rishikesh.

Day 6 :
Travel back to Dehradun. Depart from Joshimath.
Take a bus from Joshimath to Dehradun [500 rs per Pax] .
