The initial part of the trek passes through deep canopy forests which is a hotspot for leeches. Once out of the forest, the views open up, some of them peeping through the clouds, looking all evenly distributed with ebullient green. It is always a pleasure looking at the peaks within the Kudremukh range.

The base of this trek is at 14 kms from Kudremukh town after passing the Bhagavathi Nature Camp, which by itself is a wonderful place of stay and further towards SK Border.

Day 2 :

06:30 AM : Checkout the Hotel .
07:00 AM : Have Breakfasts .
08:30 AM : Visit the lesser known falls(350 meters walk) .
11:00 AM : Travel for Kunigal Hike.
Stop Over in Kelagur for shopping.
Lunch near Hassan Highway.
15:30 PM : Start the Hike ( 1 Hour to the top, Lot of Monkeys ) .
16:45 PM : Reach The Peak.
17:45 PM : Start descending.
19:00 PM : Start for Bangalore (Not Stopping for Dinner).
