The Pindari Glacier is a glacier found in the upper reaches of the Kumaon Himalayas, to the southeast of Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot.

Tentative Iternary :

Day 1: Haldwani/Kathgodam – Bageshwar – Khathi | Drive – 230km, ~10hrs
Drive from Haldwani to Khathi.

Day 2: Khathi – Dwali (2575M) | 3 – 4 hrs
Easy trek in the verdant Rhododendron, oak jungle with gradual height gain.

Day 3: Dwali – Phurkiya (3206M) | Trek – 7km, 4-5hrs
Easy Trek along beautiful Pindar Valley.

Day 4: Phurkiya – Pindari Glacier (3900M) – Phurkiya | Trek – 14km, ~8hrs
A day full of adventure while trekking to Zero Point of Pindari Glacier. It involves walking over a glacier to get to base camp to watch jaw dropping scenes. No need to carry backpack on this day. A day pack with water bottle and snacks is enough.

Day 5: Phurkiya - Hati | Trek – 7km, 3-4hrs
Return to Dwali and camp in the Pindar Valley.

Day 6: Hathi – Kathgodam.


Points to remember
1. Keep your return flight flexible or keep a spare day in case we need to extend for a day either due to bad weather or other reason. Spare day if not used can be utilised to visit places in Delhi.
2. There can be minor changes in itinerary depending upon how team members are feeling.
3. Please bring your own utensils (plate, cup and spoon) for better hygiene.
4. Essentials warm jacket, inner thermals (upper and lower), gloves, woollen cap, sun cap, sun glasses (with plastic frame), personal toiletries, sunscreen, 4-5 pairs of socks, poncho/rain proof jacket, backpack rain cover, torch.

Transport cost
Transport cost is not included. There are frequent taxis from Haldwani to Bageshwar. Group can hire a taxi for journey from Bageshwar to Khati .

Inclusions:
• High Altitude Medical Kit. Trek organiser would be carrying it.
• Stay in tents (2 person tent) during trek and hotel/guesthouse (max 2 person per room).
• 1 Toilet tent with pit.
• All meals during trek (meals not included during travel). Meals would be vegetarian (plus eggs) on the trek.
• All permits like Forest Permission, Camping fee, etc. Services of Guides, Helpers and Trek Leader
• Sleeping bags, Mattress, Sleeping bag liner, micro spikes.


Exclusions:
• Personal backpack. Baggage offloading charge is Rs 2800 per person per bag per day. Bag weight limit is maximum 9Kg. Need to tell in advance.
• Travel insurance not included.
• Entry ticket to any other place before or after trekking.
• Bring your own medicines if you take specific medicines.
• Rucksack not included.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by guests
Cancelled before 30 days from the trek start date – 75% refund.
Cancelled before 15 days from the trek start date – 50% refund.
No refund for cancellation within 15 days from trek start date

Cancellation or change in itinerary by Travel My Routes
1. Cancellation before start date – Due to any foreseen circumstances (natural disasters, strikes, weather conditions etc.) we may cancel the trip. In such cases, Travel My Routes will refund 50% in cash and issue credit against rest 50% which can be used in future.
2. Cancellation/change after trip has started – For safety of guests or reasons mentioned above, an ongoing trip may be cancelled or itinerary might be changed midway. In such cases, we will try our best to co-operate with you however, no refunds will be made. If changed itinerary (agreed upon by guests) is longer than original, extra costs (reasonable) will be borne by guests.
In case of cancellation, Travel My Routes will not be responsible for any incidental expenses, collateral losses or damages that guests may have incurred while booking the trip (for example: Visas fees, flight expenses etc.)

Equipment Damage
In case of damage or loss of equipment issued, amount needed for satisfactory repair or replacement would be charged.
