Meghane is a small village in Sharavathi valley, hidden deep inside the thick forests. Meghane peak is one of the memorable peak that offers a great view and a challenging trek, especially in rain. The track is initially lush green paddy fields, flat paths but ends in a steep climb to the Meghane peak.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1 : 26th June
1. 9:00 PM
Assemble near Majestic

Day 2 : 27th June
1. Reach Kargal, have breakfast
2. Start the trek towards Meghane village
3. Reach Meghane village, drop luggage at a village home
Reach Meghane peak
4. Reach camp and have dinner. Camp fire will be arranged

Day 3: 28th June
1. Start trek towards Marathi betta. If time permits, we will visit Bheemeshwara as well (optional)
2. Reach Kargal
3. Have dinner at a Dhaba
4. Reach Majestic, Bangalore

Travel expenses, tent rentals, forest permission fee, 2 breakfas, 2lunch and 1 dinner will be provided.
