One of the most fascinating places on the planet is Stok Kangri that lies in the beautiful area of Ladakh.
Participants should have done atleast one himalayan trek .
About the Trek:
Your trek starts with the arrival from Delhi to Leh. Spend some time to acclimatize with the beauty and weather. The whole path to the Stok Village is full of natural grandeur and flourishing green trees. From Changa Ma, you will go to Base Camp. Set up in a grassy area.This exotic area has many water bodies.You will rest here for one complete day and get adequate knowledge about all the possibilities and challenges of the trek from your guide. From here, you will trek to your destination Stok Kangri. Ascend climbing for 9-10 hours and you will reach at the top of the ridge.
Standing at the summit, you can view the Karakoram Range to your north and Zanskar Range to your south. At your front, the extensive and open ground provides you a regal feel.
Brief Itinerary Day 1 :- Arrive Leh Day 2 :- Leh (Acclimatization day) Day 3 :- Leh (11500 ft.) to Chang Ma (13087 ft.) via Stok Village (11800 ft.) Day 4 :- Chang Ma (13087 ft.) to Mankorma (14200 ft.) Day 5 :- Mankorma (14200 ft.) to Base camp (16300 ft.) Day 6 :- Rest day + training day. Day 7 :- Base camp (16300 ft.) to Stok Kangri (20080 ft.) back to base camp Day 8 :- Base camp to Leh
Cost : 16800/- + 9% GST Inclusions :- 1. Accommodation. (Camping) and Leh guest house (Day 1, Day 2 & Day 8 Night) 2. Meals while on trek (Veg.) 3. Trek equipments. 4. IMF Permits 5. First aid medical kits and oxygen cylinder. 6. Qualified & experienced trek Leader, Guide and Support staff to help trekkers. 7. Transport from Leh to Road head and return.
Exclusions :- 1. Food / Meal in Leh. 2. Any kind of personal expenses. 3. Insurance. 4. Mules or porter to carry personal luggage. 5. Anything not specifically mentioned under the head price Includes. Personal Backpack- Normally TMR expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don’t want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter/Mules, but you have to informe us in advance and have to pay Rs. 450/- extra per day per bag. The backpack weight cannot more than 10 kg.
In case of emergency: Safety of our trekkers is of prime importance to us. Our Trek Leaders are well trained to tackle medical emergencies, especially arising due to altitude. In more intense situations, the trekker will be shifted on a stretcher to the nearest medical centre at the earliest. The expenses at the medical centre, if any, are to be borne by the participant.
