Trek to World's highest organic tea estate . Along with Kolukkumalai peak . we will also be covering Meesapulimala.

Kolukkumalai is arguably the estate with the highest grown tea in the world! Started in the early 1900s the estate produces tea using the orthodox methood in the time tested tea factory. Little has changed here since the colonial planters left leaving behind their legacy of one of the best quality tea you can get in South India.
The trek starts from Kurangani village at 3,800 Feet and continues up toward a grassland till a single pine tree which is a resting point before entering the forest. From here, the trail is steeply uninterrupted and traverses right into the forest. While hiking through this trail we get mesmerizing views of Kurangani hills . There are around forty to fifty hairpin bends we have to criss-cross throughout and the only way to reach our destination.

Kolukkumalai is at 6,800 Feet above sea level . After reaching the destination, we will relax for some time with little exploration around the tea gardens and head toward the camping site for overnight stay in tents followed by a dinner and camp fire.

Difficulty level: Moderate - Difficult (rainy season) .
Distance: 14 kms approx each side (Overall 28-30 Kms)
Terrain: Steep Ascend and descend

You are expected to carry the Tents / Mats / Small packets of food parcel materials .

07:15 PM : Shantala Silk House Majestic [Near Majestic Metro] .
08:00 PM : Banashankari Bus Stand / Metro is available .
08:15 PM : SLV Ragigudda / Bangalore Central JP Nagar[3 Kms from Silk Board, Madivala] .
08:45 PM : Royal Meenakshi Mall, Bannerghatta Road .
09:00 PM : EC1 , Nice Road Junction .

use METRO/uber/ola wherever possible]

Day 1 :

07:00 AM : Have Breakfast at a local Hotel .
08:30 AM : Start of Trek .
05:00 PM : Pitch The Tent . Dinner is arranged . BonFire

Day 2 :

07:00 AM : Have Breakfast and visit MEESAPULIMALA .
05:00 PM : Start for bangalore .
