Standing at 1894 mts, Kudremukha peak is the third highest peak in Karnataka after Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri and a moderate trek to go with it. This has always been qualified under the to-do trek during onset of Monsoons. It is a deep, dense forest. Please have your expectations accordingly.


Bavikonda Trek starts from the foothills of the Mullodi village in the Kudremukha Range. Bavikonda Trek passes through the Somavathi River Waterfall, A beautiful ridge walk towards the peak. The best part of Bavikonda Trek is trekking on the open face of the mountains while enjoying the view of the nearby peaks.

Be prepared to get mesmerized by the less-explored waterfalls within the lush green Kudremukha National park. To reach to these majestic waterfalls, one has to cover adventurous routes on the way. What one can experience from this expedition is the splendid less- explored waterfalls of the graceful rainforest which rejuvenates the soul and relaxes the mind.
